About us :
Providing bunnies a safe, appropriate and friendly environment means a lot to us!
In 2004 Christine Fischer started with a private rescue station in Rosbach,
a small town near Frankfurt. Due to the constant growth of the station,
a private maintenance was no longer possible. We decided to found a rescue organization
in February 2009. The costs for fosterage and vets exceeded 15,000 Euro a year!
Rabbits are sensitive and delicate animals that are often neglected and abused.
That’s why we try to help them. Some people take better care of other animals like
cats or dogs and euthanize rabbits if they run out of space or the rabbits are
not adopted after a certain amount of time.
We provide:
-
Emergency rescue, shelter, medical care and foster care for rabbits until permanent homes are found.
-
We take care of disabled bunnies and those with long-term health or behavioural problems.
They can spend the rest of their natural lives in our sanctuary.
Our shelter gives a good and safe home to more than 100 rabbits,
therefore it is very important for us to maintain the rabbit shelter.
Our goal is to improve the life quality of our bunnies.
We do everything possible to help and support rabbits in need.
